Lepe´s Easter

On Easter, several procesions are carried out from the church, commemorating Christ´s Passion and Death. It begins with Palm Sunday, where children from Lepe join the procesions, carrying olive branches and palm. Easter takes its peak on Good Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, when religious images such as Pain´s Virgin, Mercy´s Christ, Anguish´s Virgin, Our Nazarene Father, Jesus, Health´s Christ, Love´s Virgin, are carried through Lepe by people shoulders. On Fridays night Good Funeral is held which end the Easter.

Tapa´s Route

The aim is to introduce one of the most typical regional customs and traditions, the “Tapa”. A Tapa is a small portion of typical food from the region which is usually tasted together with beer. On this route you can enjoy three special Tapas with much reduced price, on each one of the restaurants that offer it.

Month Youth

April is dedicated to the younger people, offering them several activities such as: sports, music, theater, cinema... Within this month the Tapa´s fair is held. During 3 or 4 days there are carps in the town center where all ages people meet to taste Tapas at affordable prices, everything accompanied by musical performances.

Lepe by “sevillanas”, Competition

As a previous act to the Virgin Bella pilgrimage, this musical competition is held, in which different musical groups take part singing to the Virgin Bella.
